1st Regiment of Foot Guards Grenadier coy and 1st Batt Coy (USA) [**, BBG]--We are a Revolutionary War reenactment group based in Boston MA, accurately portraying the royal household regiment that is now known as The Grenadier Guards.
10th Regiment of Foot (USA) [BBG]-- The 10th Regiment of Foot is a historically re-created unit formed to portray the service of the British Army in America during the American War for Independence. Composed of three types of soldier--Grenadiers, Light Infantrymen and Battalion soldiers--the members of the 10th are accurately uniformed and equipped, and we are trained in 18th century military drill so that we appear in public exactly as a British soldier would have been seen over 225 years ago.

17th Regiment of Light Dragoons (USA) [BBG]--The 17th Light Dragoons is a non-profit educational group devoted to the accurate portrayal of the British Horse Soldier throughout the American War of Independence. By researching, and then attempting to live as they did, we hope to gain insight into their war experience and share that knowledge with others.

21st Regiment of Foot, Royal North British Fusiliers (USA) --Well, there's actually a site there, but it's all in #^@%#$ flash and I am not going to re-type it all... I hate people that think they HAVE to use all the latest do-hickey's and gadgets on a website. Just because it's there doesn't mean you need to use it.
22nd Regiment of Foot (USA) [BAR, BBG]--A group of men and women from many walks of life who share an interest in bringing history to life. As Members of our parent organizations, The Brigade of the American Revolution, and the British Brigade, we work to fulfill their joint purpose: To keep alive the Life & Times of the Common Soldier of the American War for Independence. To that end we have recreated, as accurately as our research has allowed, a battalion company of the British 22nd Regiment of Foot.

We portray the military life and customs of the British Soldier of this period in all its aspects. Far from Being the "mindless robot" represented in popular mythology, the British Soldier was a formidable adversary who won a majority of the battles during the American Revolution. On weekends during the Spring and Summer, we gather with other recreated regiments to present "living history" demonstrations of drill, camp life and military field tactics at historic sites throughout the U.S. and Canada. We deliver shows and talks to State and National schools and interested civic and fraternal groups. We have even been to England to do public shows and demonstrations as invited guests of English Heritage and our own Regiment "back home". All members bear the cost of their own uniforms, equipment and travel.

4th Company, Brigade of Guards in America, LTD (USA, ) -- Our Company is a composite of the 1st, Coldstream, and 3rd Foot Guards Regiments. It is our mission to recreate the 4th Company as accurately as possible, in appearance and behavior, in order to educate the public about the true nature and history of the British Army in the American Colonies, and to honour all those soldiers of the Brigade of Guards who so bravely did their duty for King and Country.

We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt Historical and Educational group. The 4th Company, Brigade of Guards in America, commemorates the service of British soldiers during the American Revolution. The Brigade was considered the premier combat unit of the Crown Forces in North America. The Brigade of Guards was a composite unit formed for service in America by taking drafts from the existing regiments of Foot Guards, the Sovereign's personal guards. These drafts were organized into the ten companies that formed the Brigade. Most of these companies were formed with drafts from a single regiment of the Foot Guards. The 4th Company, however, was comprised of officers and men-at-arms from all three regiments of Foot Guards: the 1st Regiment (today's Grenadier Guards), the 2nd Regiment (the Coldstream Guards), and the 3rdRegiment (today's Scots Guards). Our unit concentrates on portraying the men of the 1st and Coldstream Regiments of Guards as they appeared during the Southern Campaigns of the War in 1780 - 81 in the Carolinas and Virginia, where most of our members reside.

Headquartered in North Carolina and Virginia, our membership is composed of good people from several states who share a common desire to come together in commemoration of our British heritage. The recreated company participates in annual events from Massachusetts to Florida, and also in Canada. Members have been involved in all major Bicentennial celebrations from Lexington and Concord to Yorktown, even having appeared before Presidents Ford and Reagan. Our members have also appeared in several motion pictures (The Last of the Mohicans, for example) and PBS documentaries.

23rd Regiment of Foot,  Royal Welch Fusiliers (USA) [BAR, BBG]--The Royal Welch Fusiliers in America commemorate the service of the 23rd Regiment of Foot during the American Revolution. Fighting in every major campaign from Lexington and Concord in 1775, through Yorktown in 1781, the 23rd Foot was one of the premier regiments of the Crown Forces in North America. Membership is open to all persons, and members are located in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, New Hampshire, and California. The recreated regiment participates in events from Florida to New Hampshire, and also in Canada and England.

The recreated 23rd regiment of Foot is proud to be the official American battalion of the Royal Welch Fusilers.

23rd Regiment of Foot, Capt. Christopher Horsfall's Company of the Royal Welch Fusiliers (USA) [RWFiA, BAR, BBG]--Capt. Christopher Horsfall's Coy.of Royal Welch Fusiliers is recreated in the Southeastern United States. It is second in seniority of the Fusilier companies. It is commanded by Captain Timothy Wilson and recruits in the Southern colonies may make application through the enlistment page.

This company is also strongly involved in the rebuilding of the RWF band and persons wishing to join as musicians are always welcome.

23rd Regiment of Foot, Capt. Grey Grove's Company of the Royal Welch Fusiliers (USA) [RWFiA, BAR, BBG]--The 2nd Captain's Company is a fusilier company that is based in Ohio and has members in Indiana as well. They participate in events in the Midwest USA, as well as East coast and overseas events.

23rd Regiment of Foot, Captain Joseph Fergusson's Company of the Royal Welch Fusiliers (USA) [RWFiA, BAR, BBG]--The Third Captain's Company of the Royal Welch Fusiliers in America. The Regiment is a group of historical re-enactors, who recreate the battles and activities of the The American Revolutionary War.

One of the main functions of this page is to provide other members of the Regiment with information on the California-based company is based in Orange County California, and which drills at Independence Hall Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, then please Send me a message! The Company will be happy to send you more information on the life of the reenactor, and what is a most exciting and rewarding hobby.

23rd Regiment of Foot, Colonel's Company (USA) [RWFiA, BAR, BBG]--Senior Fusilier Company of the Royal Welch Fusiliers, the Colonel's Company is commanded by Brigadier A.C. Vivian RWF (Ret.). The recreated Colonel's Company has members in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and our newest platoon is currently forming in Massachusetts.
23rd Regiment of Foot, Grenadier Company (USA) [RWFiA, BAR, BBG]--The Grenadiers were the elite troops of the 18th century who operated in a shock capacity. Usually the tallest and strongest men of the regiment would be in the Grenadier Company of each regiment. Pictured here at Cliveden Mansion, Germantown, Pennsylvania are elements of the Grenadier, Light Infantry, and Fusilier Companies of the Royal Welch Fusiliers in America.
23rd Regiment of Foot, Light Infantry Company (UK)--The 23rd Foot was set up in 1987 to recreate the regiment during the American War of Independence 1775-83. Since then, we have taken part in filming for various television companies, and attended events all over Britain along with other organisations such as the The Society of King George III and The Continental Army. Although our base is in Wales, we have members from all over Britain.
23rd Regiment of Foot, Light Infantry Company (USA) [BAR, BBG]--Like their counterparts in the Grenadier Company, the Light Infantry Company was considered one of the elite companys of the regiment. It was usually made of men whose speed and agility allowed them to engage in special tasks beyond the capabilities of the regular line infantry. The Light Company of the 23rd Foot was almost destroyed at the Battle of Bunker Hill, with only five men surviving unwounded
24th Regiment of Foot (USA) [BAR, BBG, BVMA]--On January 5, 1995, received permission from the Royal Regiment of Wales to recreate the regiment as it was in 1777. With the watercolor of a Battalion man of the 24th [by Von Germann] and artifacts the uniform of the 24th was re-created to the best of our knowledge.

The 24th has participated in filming of documents series for PBS and The Learning Channel. and has spoken to clubs, schools and libraries. In the short time since the 24th has been re-created, they have been recognized for their detail and authenticity on their uniforms and drill.

33rd Regiment of Foot (USA) [BAR, BBG]-- Based in Southern California, The Colonel's Company of the 33rd Foot is a re-created company of one of the finest British marching Regiments to serve King George during the American War for Independence.

We portray the military life and custom of the period in all its aspects. Far from being the mindless automaton represented in popular mythology, the British soldier was a formidable adversary who won most of the battles. We present "living history" demonstrations of drill, camp life, and field tactics. We present shows and talks to schools, as well as interested civic and fraternal groups. We travel to the east, generally in the summer months, to take part in re-enactments of Revolutionary War battles with other members of the BAR and British Brigade. We have even been to England as escort to Queen Elizabeth II for the Royal opening of the Royal Armouries Museum in Yorkshire.

3rd Regiment of Foot Guards Batt. Coy [BBG]--The re-created Third Regiment of Foot Guards (Scots Guards) is a non-profit corporation which is composed of volunteers dedicated to an authentic portrayal of certain aspects of 18th Century British Military life, in particular that of the Third Regiment of Foot Guards.
