First Kompagnie of the Imperial German Infantry Regiment,  "von Winterfeldt" Nr. 23 (2. Oberschlesiches). A Living History as well as reenactment unit that stresses Kameradschaft and doing it right. No screaming, no yelling, just the German Army. The J.R. 23 participates in events on the East Coast. Hoch den Kaiser!!
Great War Association (USA--Newville, PA)
Based at the Caesar Krauss Great War Memorial Site in Newville, Pennsylvania, the GWA is the East Coast's umbrella organization for Great War reenacting. The GWA hosts two (possibly going to three) annual combat reenactment weekends each year. The GWA actually OWNS its own battle site for private living history events. This site is designed complete with trenches, underground bunkers, shell holes and machine gun nests.

The GWA has many different units from all sides. There are numerous Allied units: American, British and French along with their allies such as the Russians and Commonwealth Troops. The Central Powers consist of a number of German units and one Austro-Hungarian unit.
The Dog's Place (Alderaan)
A site for dog owners...
Colonial Freeport (US PacNorWest)
Being a free and open port for living history reenactors in the Pacific Northwest interested in the many and varied aspects of the Ages of Exploration & Enlightenment—the 17th & 18th centuries—also known as the Colonial Era.

Be aware that the main concentration of interest is in European, Euro-American, Afro-American, and Native American history and mostly from the civilian point of view.

Open to any interested in the 17th & 18th centuries.

The Age of Exploration & Enlightenment

More than just pirates .... although they’re fun, too!
