Generals and Presidents Reenactors

This Page is an area to showcase those individual reenactors that portray Generals and Presidents and any other important people from the U.S Civil War. Yes, some people decide to portray someone like President Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, U.S. Grant, etc. to help the public "feel" the time period.

Larry Clowers is an experienced re-enactor, actor, and living historian. He has appeared in historical presentations, stage productions, re-enactments, school programs, clubs, and parades. His portrayal of General Grant is nationally known and he has performed in California, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia.

He is a Life Member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters, Life Member of the Ulysses S. Grant Association, Civil War Heritage Foundation, Sons of Union Veterans, Wild Geese Corps, Living Legends, Board Member of the Orange County Marching through History Expo, and President of a living history group in Southern California.
Com visit the New York State website of our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln.  We hope that you will enjoy taking a tour showing some of our adventures.

If you feel that your organization, school, church or civic group might benefit from a Presidential visit, feel free to contact John "Jack" Baylis by phone, email or "snail mail" and we will try to accommodate you.

We are generally in the "Southern White House" (Florida) from early January to mid-April, and then at home in New York State for the remainder of the year.
