I'm Looking for a Union unit or a Unit that does both Union and Confederate but is Primarily a Union Unit that doesn't require you to do any Confederate impressions.  In Central NC upper SC or VA.  Plus there must be no qualms about me taking the feild as a soldier, granted I'm not going to go out looking obviously as a woman in a uniform.  I'll bind my my chest, tug any long hair into my cap, etc.  I'm also hoping to also at times do a standard female role impression, but I would like to have some leeway at events as to which one I do.

If you are a member or in a sister Unit of one please don't hesitate to let me know about it.

If you haven't already check out the Reenactor.net Civil War Section . it has lists of units , it might make your search for a unit a little easier ( There are a few dead links , i'm work on that , but it is still worth a look )

    good luck ,
