This event has changed to an East Front event! We had too many conflicts with the date to ensure a good GI turnout.

All Axis, Russian, and partisan groups are invited. This is a generic East Front battle as far as the year goes.

Tactical will run from approximately 10 AM until dusk on Saturday 5/30. There will be objectives for both Axis, Russian, and partisan forces.  Event will be held rain or shine. Participants may arrive anytime after noon on Friday 5/29 and depart at their leisure on Sunday 5/31.

DIRECTIONS TO EVENT:
• Travel south on I-81 towards Staunton, VA.
• Take first Staunton exit #225, which is a right turn onto Rt. 275.
• Stay on Rt. 275 for about 7.5 miles.
• Turn right onto Parkersburg Turnpike / Rt. 254.
• This road will turn into Rt. 42 South, and will go through the town of Craigsville.
• 5 miles past Craigsville, look for a sign on the right that says “Handmade Knives” and/or a sign saying “WWII Event”. Turn right here.
A lumber yard is across the street from the event site. Once on the property, follow signs to registration.

Registration has been added to our website:

Thanks!

I'm going to try to make it down with Harry. Do not know for sure if the witch of a principal will let me take a day that Friday or not. If you want will do Romanian and know 2 others in VA that have the basic impression (Harry does also!) if need more on the Allied side if not then will do 4th SS.

I was there, and it was quite a hoot! Always fun trying to swat the ruskies, and they do a pretty good job swating back! More than once I got hit in the flank by a mob of running ruskies.
