Since I'm new to reenacting, I've seen some of these outfits that have actual tanks, tracked assault guns, scout cars, etc.  I've also seen some of the improvised munitions that the German infantry used against them such as the gas-can-and-grenade combo in the engine vents, and the potato masher with extra explosive heads tied to it.  I've also been informed that some of these guys baby their WWII vehicles and rightfully so, the parts are hard enough to come by I'm sure.  So, what is the etiquette for "killing" a tank/armored car/etc. during a tactical or public event?

Just kill it! Be careful of where you toss the grenade. Do not hit the driver or anyone in the cab. Toss it at the vehicle don't throw it like you are pitching to win the World Series. Not too many vehicles come out though so will not be a major problem. However I am not too familiar with the hobby in Texas so maybe someone down there can add to this.

to add to that.......maybe throw it NEAR the vehicle........also, remember that crews in a halftrack/tank etc... probably wont hear you and may not see you.......you may have to make yourself clearly seen and take 1 for the team in order to get a kill

I don't mind taking one for the team. That's, what?, an entire crew+1 tank/halftrack/whatever in exchange for just moi?  Evil
