    Gathering at Five Medals ; A living history Experience
    River Preserve Park
    Goshen , IN
                         Camp on the banks of the historic Elkhart River and near the site of Five Medals Village , target of U.S. military raids in 1812 and 1813 . This is a 17th century through War of 1812 juried event ! Walk-ins juried at gate . Beginners are invited and the jury will be glad to help you . Daily battle and artillery exhibitions . Great wooded campsites for Native Americans and trekkers . Artisans and demonstrators welcome . Merchants please apply - we attempt not to duplicate . Firewood , water , and port-a-johns provided .
