reenactor.Net, THE Online, Worldwide Home of Living History Forums
News: We are happy to announce that we have our new "link mod" working—our programmer out-did himself on making it!! The program allows YOU to add your link yourself, unlike the old "add-me form" we had. Please, go to http://www.reenactor.net/forums/index.php/page,167.html and add your unit's link, if we don't have it. For that matter, you can update links too. We still have many of the old links up, as it is a process to do a lot of them. However, we will be working to update links as fast as possible-- soon, ALL the unit links and historical links will be done this way!!

Is gas powered Machine gun simulated fire still popular?  How do you set that up?  Is it propane?  What kind of experiences have you had with such a set up?

Often they sound like a farting duck if not set up properly.

These guys have an interesting setup. Claim the backpack weighs less than 20lbs.

I'm actually hoping to put a couple together in the future. They are very useful for fixed positions and vehicles. I've seen an attempt to carry around one in the woods, but the backpack of gas tanks weighed so much that a young marine couldn't stay standing! I'm hoping to get one lighter than that using the example above.
