    Those are great photos at the links you provided--I wish I could have went to that!! Col. Driant was very cool! I remember reading about him in The Price of Glory... If I hadn't already been doing a German portrayal, I think I would have done French. Oh well, long in the past now,

    Yes, this event was the begining of a interesting year 2010!

    This month is "museum spring" in the military-museum of Stammheim near Würzburg (pictures of 2007:) http://www.dsm1918.de/bilder-von-heute2007-stammheim-31-03-2007-1.html
    In july we have a great event with the german forces (Bundeswehr) at the infantery-school in Hammelburg ("Bonnlandfest/Day of the Infantery")! It takes place every 5 years!
