    "The Battle for East Prussia: 1945".

    Location: Decommissioned Nike Missile Base C-47
    563 West 600 North, Hobart, Indiana 46342
    Date: Saturday, February 5th, 2011 Troops are welcome to sleep in one of the several concrete buildings on site, although there is not heat, 55 gallon drums for fires will be available on site. Troops may arrive anytime after 5pm on Friday, February 4th.
    Event Times: S&A will take place at 8:30 am on February 5th. The battle will begin at 9:00am sharp. Fighting will continue until 4:00. Points will be awarded for holding and taking objectives, and several scenarios will take place. A warming hut will be available on-site for troops to warm themselves in.
    Event rules: The event is open to all late-war Ostfront impressions (German, Soviet, or Partisan).
    -Germans: Helmets must be worn at all times in the field. Soviets:
    -Helmets or Ushankas may be worn.
    -Partisans: Please keep captured German gear to a minimum, as suspected partisans would automatically be found guilty if found wearing German gear.
    Weapons MUST be of European origin. NO US WEAPONS WILL BE ALLOWED.
    -Vehicle owners and towed weapons will be given free entrance to the event. Lend/Lease US vehicles are acceptable.

    From Chicago
        * Take 80/94 East to Highway 51 South (exit at Ripley).
        * Go south on 51 (rt 130) to flashing red light at County Line Rd
        * Proceed straight nearly 1 mile, to first road on left (600 N.)
        * Turn left onto 600 N
        * Go approximately 1.5 miles to Blast Camp on left.
    From Indianapolis
        * From I-65 North, take exit 259B onto I-80 E/I-94 E/US-6 E toward Detroit/Toledo
        * Take 80/94 East to Highway 51 South (exit at Ripley).
        * Go south on 51 (rt 130) to flashing red light at County Line Rd
        * Proceed straight nearly 1 mile, to first road on left (600 N.)
        * Turn left onto 600 N
        * Go approximately 1.5 miles to Blast Camp on left.
    Authenticity Notes: HRS S&A regs apply.
    Prohibited Vehicles/Items: wheeled vehicles only
    Motels: Discounted motel rooms 2 miles away, more info to follow.
