    1945 Western Germany Invasion Event,
    Event Date February 19, 2011
    A time period tactical event in Southeast/Mid-Atlantic Region, North Eastern North Carolina, off I-95, 30 minutes south of the Virginia state line.
    All WTO Allied & Axis Units Invited,
    This event will be a representation of the Hurtgen Forest
    Battle circa February early March 1945, as well as all other Western front battle on the same date. This is a Generic specific battle so all Western front unit may attend.

    Arrival: Friday between 2PM and 10PM
    Saturday between 7AM and 9 AM

    It will be located in Halifax County in North Carolina 32 miles south of the Virginia border. 3 miles off I-95 exit 154 in NC. Site is vehicle friendly.

    Schedule (Saturday): *subject to change as needed*
    Officers Briefing 9:00 AM
    Safety Inspection 9:15AM
    Battle Begins, 9:30AM Units move into Field (Units required to eat in the field)
    Battle Ends 4:00P
    (Battle will not be called for running out of blanks, bring plenty of ammo)

    Participant Admission:
    Reenactors: $25.00 (pre-registration $15.00 due on February
    5, 2011)
    Non-Combat Reenactors: $15.00
    Vehicle owners free with minimal crew(1 extra per vehicle)
    Vendors: Free

    Event is two weeks away! One day left to get early registeration in (postmark by Feb 5). We are digging emplacements, placing bunkers, and even cut a new path! Looking forward to seeing you there!

    Weather is looking good! Hope to see everyone there.

    There will be a night patrol on Friday night (8-10pm) for those who are interested. Please let registration know if you want to take part. No prolonged firefights though. Fire a few shots in response, and then move off.
