    In cooperation with the
    Va.-Carolina Military History Association, Inc
    Presents
    World War II Live,
    a Living History and WWII Vehicle show.
    Saturday and Sunday November 12-13, 2011
    at Historic Averasboro Civil War Battlefield, Averasboro, NC
    (30 minutes north of Fayetteville, NC off I-95)

    All World War II (European, Pacific, and Homefront) Impressions invited,
    (no person under 16 with a firearm, per reenactment site rules)
    There will be a World War II Vehicle show also.

    Event Schedule:
    Saturday:10am-4pm open to public - public battle at 2pm (possible ostfront battle at 11am)
    Sunday: 10am to 3pm open to public- public battle at 2pm

    Reenactors and WWII Display vehicles free, but we ask you register by Oct.15, 2011 to receive a free meal ticket.

    Please use the link below to register for the event. Registration is free, and you will receive a meal ticket if you register by October 15th! This is a new event for this site and they are really excited about it. The site is 30 miles north of Fayetteville NC, just off of I-95. It is 40 miles south of Raleigh NC. Join us for Veterans Day Weekend and pay tribute to our armed forces. Hope to see you there, Franz.

    Event Information:
    Check in will begin around 1-2pm on Friday. Please look for table to sign in. Reenactor contacts are Franz Enders and Donnie White, and Benny Pearce is the contact for the overall event.

    Open on Saturday from 10am-4pm, Sunday from 10am-3pm. Public battle will be around 2pm.

    Reenactors will get a meal ticket for each day. Meal is a hot dog or hamburger with fries and a drink.

    No digging, but fires allowed above ground. Please keep source of water on site for putting out fire if needed. Firewood is available. Put out fires, cleanup site, and return unused wood to where you got it before leaving.

    Porta Potties are onsite. Water spigot is onsite and is drinkable.

    If you are interested in coming and have not signed up, please contact me ASAP so we can advise the staff that you are coming.

    Directions:
    Take Exit 71 off I-95. Go West on Long Branch Road for Testudo.8mi. Continue straight on Arrowhead Road for Testudo.9mi. Make a slight right onto Dorman Drive and continue for 1.9mi. Make a left onto NC 82 and site will be on your right after 2.1mi.

    3300 Hwy 82, Dunn, NC 28334
