I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to get inexpensive German uniforms. Looking for a Army unit here in Michigan, so far no luck. I just want to be a basic infantryman. Also can anyone give me a basic list of needed items. Thanks in advance!

Don't worry, there are German Army units and reenactors around you. Wink I think first you need to think about it... don't just buy "inexpensive" stuff. You want to get good stuff. Why? Well, for one thing, if you have a good kit, you can join just about ANY unit. If you have crap they won't touch you. Take your time and do it right.
