    Hello everyone!

I work for a museum in Greeley, Colorado. My official job is historical interpreter there at their Victorian era village. I am the mighty schoolmarm! I love my job!

We're really starting to kick off some cool events at the museum starting next year--including an American war time line. We are interested in getting together some Civil War, SpanAm,  Indian wars, WWI, and WWII reenactors to set up a sort of time line for our museum guests to see next Memorial Day 2012. We would love to see some first person characters walking around camps/areas to talk to visitors and give them some education on the U.S's role in these different wars and time periods. Not all the details have been hammered out for the event yet, but we would love to see some volunteers or some people/vehicle owners willing to come out on a volunteer/donation basis. Can I be ambitious and hope for half-tracks? Tanks? P-51 flyovers? Okay maybe that's TOO ambitious, but a girl can dream, right? Maybe in a couple years, I'll get my pyrotechnic buddies together, and we can do something in along the lines of Akron Air show reenactment battles! (again with the dreaming) Cheesy Not sure we'll have any en masse battles this year, but I always love to see geeky reenactors like myself in their elements!

Would any one be interested in playing any of these roles next Memorial Day in Greeley Colorado? For the juicy details and to have any questions answered, you can e-mail me at alexandra.valtakis@gmail.com, or I'll be checking up on this thread in the future.

Look forward to hearing any interest!
