17th Annual Civil War Weekend - Wade House Historic Site
    Greenbush, WI
    September 29 & 30, 2007

Two full days of Civil War drama unfold in the largest Civil War reenactment and encampment in Wisconsin. A full schedule of activities extends from 10 am – 5 pm with authentic battles reenacted each day at 2 pm. Watch the spectacle of hundreds of soldiers – cavalry, infantry and artillery – as they struggle across the vast field. Experience the conflict between the North and South as Union and Confederate troops set up camp, conduct drills, and offer demonstrations. Civilian and women's issues, medical reenactment, and music of the Civil War era are presented interactively each day and special hands-on experiences abound. Food and an extensive array of Civil  War items are available for sale on site. www.wisconsinhistory.org/wadehouse
