Let me get this started from the old WH list guys.
Radios.....we all need'em. Some fellas out there can make em but we need photos of these things to get started. I have one photo (somewhere on a CD where I keep all my goodies) but I'm still looking for it. If you guys have any (photos) please post em so we can make these things. Original looking box with a modern radio on the inside. Sometimes runners just don't run fast enough,LOL!!!

The guys have been using ebay for everything. I don't use the site so I have no idea how they find anything. I do know that they have found several headsets and smaller radios.
Sorry I can't help any more. This was just the place I used to get our guy started and let him take over from there.

Here are some pics of my Torn.Fu.d2 that I scratchbuilt useing a resin faceplate. I mounted the cassette drive unit from an old Delco car radio that connected it's output to an amplifier from an old set of computer speakers. The headphone jacks are functional as well as the extension speaker jack. The volume control knob adjust the output to the headphones. The unit is activated by moveing the selector switch at the top center. The power for the radio pack is supplied by the battery pack unit through the connector cable. I concealed a 12 volt gellcell inside the black dummy battery. I put 2 hour cassettetapes in the cassette unit of recorded music, broadcasts, or radio traffic
