reenactor.Net, THE Online, Worldwide Home of Living History Forums
News: We are happy to announce that we have our new "link mod" working—our programmer out-did himself on making it!! The program allows YOU to add your link yourself, unlike the old "add-me form" we had. Please, go to http://www.reenactor.net/forums/index.php/page,167.html and add your unit's link, if we don't have it. For that matter, you can update links too. We still have many of the old links up, as it is a process to do a lot of them. However, we will be working to update links as fast as possible-- soon, ALL the unit links and historical links will be done this way!!

    9th Annual Blackbeard Pirate Festival
    May 31 & June 1, 2008

Hampton Blackbeard Festival - Hampton, VIRGINIA.

This festival is based in downtown Hampton, Va. on the waterfront. We are a nautical themed festival overflowing with seamen, merchants, wenches, Royal Navy and most of all pirates! For the weekend we all take a walk back through time when Blackbeard lost his head on of 1718. There are sea battles, tavern brawls, trials and general mayhem lurking around the bend. Guests and vendors alike are encouraged to join in the fun by dressing in period attire.  No Quarter Given booth.  Discounted rates are available for vendors with merchandise reflecting the time period upon approval by the Blackbeard committee.  We are now in our 8th year and have experienced growth every year.  Festival operating hours are from 10am to 12am Saturday – 12pm to 6pm Sunday.

Friday night the 1st there will be a Grand Pirates Ball! Tickets are available in advance for discounted rates or at the door at regular rates. Dress will be either period attire or formal dress. Online registration forms can be found on the website listed below.  Info, please contact Pyrate Pete, Phone: 757-344-0685  E-mail:  piratical_adventures@yahoo.com
