Hello all I'am looking for a group for my family and I to join.We live in Boone Co.Me and my 13 year old son use to belong to a Buckskining/Blackpowder and a Scottish group  but lost touch with everyone (lost half our gear when it flooded at the Feast of the Hunters Moon thats how long ago) But Iam remarried and Iam finaly getting my husband into maybe going to reendactments..(he's never been camping unless you count the one time he went with the boy scouts and melted his boots together)  I can sew (have paterns for Midieval -early american) and plan to take this winter to get outfits made for my Family. My son and I have still have parts of our Scottish outfits and some of our gear so we aren't starting from scratch........Anyway looking for a family friendly group if you could help me out  Grin                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     THANK YOU!!!

You may want to check out The Crewe of the Archangel under these links:

http://www.reenactor.net/forums/index.php?topic=253.Testudo  scroll down a bit for info...

    and http://www.reenactor.net/forums/index.php?topic=438.Testudo

We portray mariners (pirates/privateers/merchants as well as civilians from the Golden Age of Piracy)  BUT we are VERY family oriented... most of us are married and bring our spouses and children...no matter what the children's ages.

    Greetings!

If you are interested in the Viking Era you should contact this group:  http://www.vikingsna.org/gladsheim/  .  They are near Indianapolis and have some great folks.  They come out and play with us here at Norstead.  Check out our site we are building!
