Hey guys! I'm not too familiar with WWII vendors, but I've been getting Atlanta Cutlery Corp.'s catalog, and I see that they have some pretty decent looking German repro items at what I think is a humane price.  They have M43 field caps for $19.95, M35 & M42 helmets for$89.95.  Iv'e seen what some of the other suppliers get for that stuff, and even if the quality of ACC's offering may be a little "off" ( you guys would know...) it looks passable for someone starting their kit.  --Just thought I'd pass this info your way.  Visit their website: www.atlantacutlery.com & check out their offering.

they're the bomb! if you want to do WWII, save your pennies and get stuff from LB. Yeah, Hong Kong is cheaper, but A: it's ususally not cut right and b: if we buy from China, soon there won't be ANY US manufacturers of stuff. The guys who made all this stuff happen are being run out of business by the Chinese. Not cool. Call Ed or Ray at LB and they'll work w/ you to build you a good kit. Can't say enough good about them.

And yes, there are other good dealers too. Don't wanna sound like I'm blowing them off. Hessen Antique, 1944 Militaria and At the Front are all good for German.
