RE-ENACTORS WANTED!!!  June 27-29, 2008.  Prior to the Battle of Gettysburg, the Confederate troops invaded & took over the town of Shippensburg, PA. The annual March to Destiny event will feature re-enactors of Union and Confederate soldiers.  Come & be a part of this experience as we recreate history.
Restaurants & hotel within walking distance of camps.  Camps open 5:00 p.m. Friday & close 3:00 p.m. Sunday.  Some of the scheduled events will be: foraging for food; a morning and afternoon skirmish held in the middle of town; followed by a parade of all participants.   Planned activities for the children.  A Victorian Ball is held on Saturday evening.   Sunday - a tactical battle with artillery, infantry, & Calvary ensues at the Fairgrounds.    For further information, registration, etc. – visit our website at www.marchtodestiny.com
