1917 Stewart Truck towing Krupp 77mm Field CannonThe Great War Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established to honor those men and women who served their countries in a myriad of ways during World War I.  Members of the Foundation exhibit a variety of authentic uniforms, artifacts, and equipment at public events and have developed a Speakers Bureau that gives presentations to schools and organizations..

Caesar Krauss Memorial GardenThrough fundraising, donations, grants, and endowments the GWF hopes to develop the Caesar Krauss Great War Memorial Site in Newville, Pennsylvania.  Immediate projects include a  Memorial Garden, which will feature a 240 by 360 foot arrangement of white crosses.  The crosses can be purchased and placed in remembrance of World War I individuals, units, or organizations from any nation.

The Canteen at NieuvilleAnother project is the construction of a period style French barn, which will serve as a Canteen during living history events, as well as a Visitors' Center.  The Canteen will especially pay homage to the contributions of women during the War.                                                                       ...
