I'm looking for a place that will make or carries a section of 1860s period frames, to use today's lighter plastic lens (unless you know the person's perscription and actually handle the glasses no-one would ever know) anyone that has any idea on a place that does this please share the information.

Hi Sharps Lady,
I have purchased "vintage" frames from Ed Welch at eyeglasswarehouse.com. He is very reasonable price. You can even have inexpensive presecription lenses put in, if you wish.

I must really thank you, so very much, for posting your link. I do so many time-periods and need glasses for each one, and they had each one. Looks fabulous. I hope you will not mind me passing the link on to other forums and re-enactors. Again, thank you so very much.
