Announcing the 2008
 Black Powder Reenactor's Tag Sale/Swap Meet!
What?
The annual Black Powder Reenactor's tag sale/swap meet. All reenactors from the Colonial periods up to the American Civil War are invited to participate. This event will be open to the public as potential customers. Sutlers welcome.

This event is being sponsored by the Governor Jonathan Trumbull House and supported by the Connecticut Colony Military Association. Period (whatever black powder Century that may be) dress is preferred.

You may also register on the day of the event, space allowable. Restroom for vendors is located in the house.

When?
March 29, 2008. Preference is given to pre- registered participants on the basis of the order of registration. Bring flies and tables if you have them. In the case of snow we will cancel, and pre-registration fees will be returned. Pre-registration fees will be returned only if WE cancel, not if vendors cancel on their own. The decision to cancel will be made no later than 24 hours before the event. Set up will be starting at 7:30 am for an opening at 9:00 am.

Directions to Governor Jonathan Trumbull House:
From Hartford and points West:

Take Route 2 East to Route 16 in Colchester. Right off ramp to center of Colchester. Left at light onto Main Street, Right at next light-following signs for Route 16. Continue on Route 16 to end. Take right onto Route 207 and continue to center of Lebanon. Take left onto West Town Street at First Congregational Church (large historic brick structure); museum is third house on left.

From Norwich and points East**:

Take Route 2 West to Exit third house on left.

From New Haven and points South:

Take Route 95 North to Route 395. Take Route 395 North to Exit 81B (Route 2 West). Follow from **above.

From Worcester and Points North:

Take Route 395 South to Exit 81 (Route 2). Right off ramp following West Town Street (Norwich). Pass bowling alley plaza and Courtyard Marriott. Go through first light, and go under highway. Continue straight to link with Route 32 North. Take first left onto Route 87 North to center of Lebanon. At stop sign take left onto Route 207, then first right onto West Town Street, museum is third house on left. 25 (Route 32). Follow Route 32 North. Take first left onto Route 87 North. Follow Route 87 North to center of Lebanon. At stop sign take left onto Route 207, then first right onto West Town Street. Museum is the third house on the left.
