I've been contacted by my local American Legion post in Vienna, VA.  They are putting together a display of WW2 American uniforms and equipment as a part of an exhibition of how WW2 affected the local community.  Depending on participation, they are also considering having an event that features living history displays by reenactors and vehicle displays by vehicle collectors.  The plan is to kick this all off around Veterans' Day 2008.

If you live in the Washington, DC area and are willing to help out a worthy organization, please PM me.
