Greetings from Texas
« on: August 11, 2007, 10:49:08 AM »
I'm new to reenacting but not to history.  Most of the events in this part of the world have to do with either the Civil War or Texas Revolution (The Alamo!).  Fortunately the 19th century is my greatest interest, but I would love to attend events having to do more with the 17th & 18th centuries. That involves travel and more planning, but I hope to learn about reenacting opportunities far enough in advance on this board to possibly get myself there.

In my past life I was a history graduate student and am currently a research librarian.  Several resources for the 18th & 19th centuries are posted on my websites including an article database.  Feel free to browse, I may even be able to share information.

I look forward to getting to know more reenactors and working on my impression.

Thanks!
