Title: Crimean War impressions in the UK
Post by: Frosty on February 05, 2007, 04:11:46 PM
The Crimean War is re-enacted to a small degree in the UK. As far as i know there are two groups in this country the 19th Foot and the Diehards.
The 19th (1st Yorkshire North Riding) Regiment of Foot (www.19thfoot.co.uk)-these guys are part of the American Civil War Society UK and their primary impression is CSA infantry.
The Diehards (www.thediehards.co.uk)- this group has done an impression of the 57th and 77th Foot, this group primarilly portray the Middlesex Regiment on home service circa 1881.

Good source of info on the Crimean War battles is the British Battles site (www.britishbattles.com)
