Sturmkatze:
I'm not sure who thinks up these dates, but... not only is this the SAME weekend as the Marching Through Time event at Marietta Mansion in Maryland, it is ALSO the SAME weekend as the GWA's WWI Spring Combat Event. Research people -- RESEARCH! Don't look for much WWI support at these things. (^)

Balaklava:
Been to ATT in 2009. Great site & people. Big crowds. True, it is same weekend as MTT and other local events. My last commo with organizers at ATT was to move the event to mid May AND get sponsors to pay for reenactors fuel costs. It is over an 8 hour 500 mile ride from central MD to Camden SC.

Cheerio, Johnnie, 93rd Sutherland Highlanders 1812-1858.
