Title: Starting new Unit from Scratch
Post by: SaniUffz352 on August 20, 2009, 10:56:31 PM
Guten Abend Alle Kameraden!!  I would like opinions on starting a new unit.  I have been in a very good unit for many, many moons now, and at some point in the future I will be moving out of state. After looking over the Units available to me, I have had an idea that I would like to start my own Unit-of-One so-to-speak.  In the vein of Der Erste Zug, I would like one impression for DAK, another for OstFront, another for Normandy '44 and afterwards.

What is the group concensus on doing something like this?  I already know that this may stir up ruffles in some peoples feathers, but.... just curious.

Danke

its probably best to join a reenacting group out there first........there has to be a good unit up/over there......since its a new location for you, you really dont know anything about the reenacting scene........ even if you dont plan to be in the unit long it will help you at least meet new people
