The website has yet to be updated, but please mark your calendars and check back in the future.
We are less than two months out from this event. Please get your registrations in so we can plan the event. We getting some great feedback from last years event and looking forward to seeing everyone from last year and some new visitors as well.
We have also posted information on our homepage at http://www.windhund116.webs.com/ .
We are past the time to preregister, but please send us a message if you are planning to attend so we can make plans for setting up the event. Walkons are welcome. Currently, we have a good number of Germans planning to come, along with a decent number of Americans. We would like to see some more American leg infantry, and other nations represented. So if you have some Russian, British, Canadian, Italian, or other gear, feel free to bring it. Turnout looks like it will be greater than last year, and hope to see everyone there. Thanks, Franz.
Thanks to everyone who came out. The weather was a bit warm during the day, but the weather was still quite good for an outdoor event. We have several vehicles in attendance (german halftrack, us jeep, and us classic car) and several german and us units.
This was the second time we have hosted this event and are looking for ways to improve it for the third event. We are already making plans for next year, and have contacted several folks who are planning to bring more vehicles to the event. It would have been nice for those who had been in the parade in Fayetteville in the morning had brought their vehicles to the event in the afternoon so folks could see them up close. We would also like more impressions, everything from allies (British, Russian, Canadian, US Infantry, etc) to axis (Japanese, Italian, etc.).
So come join us for November 9-10, 2013! And if you preregister, you get a free lunch for each day.
Thanks again, Franz Enders.
