World War II Reenactment in Northeastern North Carolina
For the fifth year we are happy to announce the return of our annual Western Front Battle, Hurtgenwald! This year we will return to our southern battlefield.
'It's a brisk December day, the Germans forces have just set up a defensive line west of the Rhine River near the Hurtgen Forest. The front line troops prepare for the inevitable attack to come. The Allies know they are up for a fight as they approach the last natural barriers to the German heartland.’
All Allied units, including British Units are invited. All German Units are invited.
The registration fee is $30 for reenactors ($25 if received by November 16), and free for vehicle owners.
The event is located near Enfield, NC, just off I-95, a half hour south of the Virginia border.
Night Battle from 8pm to 10:30pm on Friday night. Battle is from 9:30am to 4pm on Saturday.
