Post by: Rev on February 18, 2007, 05:12:46 PM
Does anyone know a place where I could get a good quality Pionier Sturmgepack?

International Military Antiques has the Pack and pouches. Fairly reasonable.

IMA's are pretty lightweight. Not bad for 80 bucks but I don't see them lasting for a long time. www.alleramilitaria.com has a set as well. From what I've been told, Edelweiss Militaria has the best, but you are looking at 450 for the whole set up.

Edelweiss does have the best set.  Yes, they are pricey but well worth it.  I've seen the IMA ones and they are not to standard.

Yeah, IMA's hardware (esp the retaining D-rings for the flaps) sucks.... I think they got a hold of some East German AK pouches and used the D-rings from those.
