Life in the Granny Lane
Money is tight right now and I am hoping to sell some more ads. r.Net is right on the verge of taking the next leap forward and I am trying to get it off the skids... Anyway, Wendy has bought me a bunch of healthy stuff for my lunches. I was in a truck stop today and HOLY CRAP! the "Billy-Bobs" were buying some NASTY stuff. Okay, potato logs and fried chicken DID smell good, but it's like a heart attack in a sack (real drivers don't eat off of plates -- ya get it in a sack and eat it on the road).
Rain today. I like rain! Snow, not so much. It's neat if I don't have to go out in it. I hope to be doing something else next snow season -- 23 years is enough! I wish I could just get the web thing going. Even a pet biz would be cool. Pet people are pretty cool and not all spastic like other businesses. We shall see.
I tend to ramble. I know it, but hey, a blog is supposed to be my thoughts and if that's the case, well, I'm a rambling kind of person. Like a brook, sometimes I babble.
I hear people talking about the election - still won't really decided until I get IN the booth as I don't really have "warm and fuzzies" for ANY of them :-( I still don't have answers to many of my questions.
A couple of ideas for jobs/businesses popped into my field of vision. Not going into them here though. Not yet. Need to get off of here and make my lunch for tomorrow -- I have to get up early and go pay the rent. I wish we could still smoke pot!! Well, we can all have a dream, one where I'm not a driver anymore and subject to random urinalysis (a BS fakey word to describe something not even thought of not that long ago... "you wanna do WHAT with my piss??"). Waugh!
Anyway, time ta go now... I've wasted my 2 reader's time enough today.
