1. To be a "Site o' the Month pick, your website has to really be something we want to share with the world. It must stand out, whether it's funny, or just informational.
2. The website must have something to do with history, optimally about reenacting, but at the least, about history.
3. NO porn, adult or rascist/hate sites.
4. The site should load quick--we don't want to sit for 10 minutes while the page loads. Use PhotoShop to make the pix smaller without losing their look.
5. Something to avoid: Colours that are really vile--as in hard to read the page, this can also be from backgrounds that make things illegible. (this means if we have to highlight your text just to read it, that's not good and it is a definite distraction).
6. Again, the text should be legible with a minimum of typos-- this does not mean your site must be typo-free, none of us are ever typo free, just proof read it!
7. Make us laugh! This is always a good way to win ;-D

After you fill-out this application, we will visit your site. Bad URLs, dead sites, etc. are grounds for instant disaaproval of the application. Once we have looked at your site, we will then decide on the award. Please realize it might take a week or three to get to it as we are usually quite busy. We WILL look though! ;-)
