March 23 -26 -- Lafe AR. 43AD event: The premier Roman Living History event in the US. The Lafe event is a Roman "tactical" and 24 hour Living History "immersion" event that Leg. II puts on each year. It is fast becoming the Roman event in North America and each year draws more reenactors from each side. We are building a Roman fort on the site, along with the barracks building you see below.

June 3-4 2006 -- Legio XX's Roman Days in Glenn Dale, MD is a display of ancient military and domestic living history, is an attempt to get as many Romans together in one place as possible. LEG. XX is joined by several other groups including fellow legions, gladiators, civilians, Celts and other barbarians.
There are merchant booths and an ongoing cooking display. Activities include tactical drill demonstrations, educational displays (writing, architecture, etc.), and more. Children's activities included making mosaics, writing in Greek, "Bean the Barbarian", and learning how to march like a soldier. Celts, Greeks, and other ancient types are also welcome. Civilians, teachers, wargamers -- if you have any interest in ancient history, please come! Be a participant or just come and talk to everyone about our mutual passion.
