This is the "pre-page" for the "official" G.J.R. 98 web site. G.J.R. 98 is an organization dedicated to WWII historical reenacting. We portray a unit of the Wehrmacht and as such strive to do this as accurately as possible.

If you find that there is an error, P L E A S E send me an E-mail so that I may correct the problem.

Among the things that are installed on this site are some midi music files--they might cause your browser to flash you a warning message about malicious files, virus's, etc. DO NOT PANIC, this is simply the browser telling you that it must add a midi plug-in--it is NOT a virus, it is not damaging, it will not destroy your computer and it will NOT cause your brains to melt or moths to get into your uniform collection, etc.

Also, some of the pictures on this site may take a bit of time to download (we are getting better on this, but some still take a bit to view), so please bear with us, as we feel that you will enjoy this site!

One other note before you enter the G.J.R. 98 Site:

I still HIGHLY recommend that you go download Netscape Communicator and use it... also, it is FREE and you're not supporting Bill Gates!. Add to this, the fact that Communicator comes with AOL/Netscape Messenger (AIM), a program that allows real-time communication (again for FREE), and that most online viruses are written to work w/ IE, I cannot see why anyone would use I.E.--except that it comes with Windows. It's your choice, but I believe that Netscape is the better deal. Click the icon below to go to Netscape's Net Center.
