F.A.Q. Page for the WW2-L World War 2 Reenactor's Forum
First read through these simple rules. I know, you're tired of having to agree to stuff on the 'Net, but this is simple.
The WW2-L List is not, in the Internet sense, a moderated list, and mailings are not screened. The list is managed by Andy Zappone and owned by Marsh Wise. Andy's word on disputes are final.
F.A.Q. for WW2-L World War 2 Reenactor's Reenactors Forum
- When signing up, you MUST fill out a yahoo groups PUBLIC PROFILE with your real name (first and last) and city where you live -- if you do not do this, we will NOT approve you to join this list! No BS here!
- When replying to a message, you MUST put the list address in your address window or it will only go to the person who first posted the message. That address is: ww2-l@yahoogroups.com. The best way to do this, is make a new address card for this list. Then simply add this address to your reply.
- Personal attacks are not allowed--you may disagree with someone, but you will NOT begin calling them names. Violators of this rule WILL find themselves booted.
- This list is for Reenactors--it is not for political discussions. Comparing past politics, etc. with those of the present is allowed, but no tirades about current politics, political leaders, scandal etc.
- Profanity, while not encouraged, is certainly not forbidden. But, saying this, the use of any racially or sexually derogatory terms will result in the offender getting their ass immediately booted off this list!
Consider this a WARNING!
- This is not a commercial list! Whilst advising list members of good sources for reenacting uniforms and equipment is encouraged, spamming them with your militaria business list is a good way to get unsubscribed.
- Flaming--Flaming is not allowed. Excessive, violent or harrasssing "flames" will result in your "suppression." What does this mean?? Mainly that your ability to post will be removed.
- If you are looking for "long-hair" high-brow discussions concerning which general was an idiot, the "Chivalry of the Air" or why Patton was a hero, this list is not for you. We're here to discuss our hobby: Reenacting World War II! Any topics that will help us with this are encouraged. Don't be shy about jumping-in, little in the WWII reenacting hobby is verboten or sacred here!
