FS dressing posket and map pocket (on the front of the
leg and NOT on the side).
- All cap badges MUST be King's Crown.

helmets (which are Belgian).
- All BD blouses must be of the correct pattern, Country of manufacture
is not important-but the cut is important--NO open neck P-47 or P-49
blouses. If you wear a Greek pleated pocket blouse, the pocket buttons
must NOT show.
- NO shoulder titles of flashes to be sewn on Denim blouses.
Regulations for British Airborne
Troops
- No Post war berets--if it's above your ear it's wrong. War time berets
were like large soup plates and hung just below the earlobe.
- All webbing should be blancoed
- No 1944 toggle GP ammo pouches-ALL web pounches should have the brass
clouser snap.
- No solid olive face veils--all WWII veils were cammo. Each man was
issued with one-this is a standard issue item.
- No post war Denisons. 1946 pattern is passable, but only just.
- All jump helmets must have either a leather or khaki web chin strap.
NO olive green chin straps--this is VERY post war.
- No MK II Sten guns. The Paras were equipped with MK V's for Normandy
and Arnhem-very few if any Mk II's were still in use by the Paras by
June of 1944. The Infantry did still use them--but you are Airborne
and NOT line infantry!
- MKIII Sten should only be used by Glider Pilots (and
line infantry).
- All boots to be ladder-laced--this is regulation-- NO
cross lacing (X stype like your tennis shoes).
Be
proud of what who you are trying to emulate and do a good job--put some
time into it.
