Post by: mtnman on May 10, 2012, 11:43:11 AM
1st Annual Pioneer Days to be held in Dillsboro, North Carolina, on June 8, 9 and 10, 2012. This is a Living History event that characterizes a century of American history in the Southern Appalachians.
Pioneer Days? The Time Between the Wars 1760-1860, is where Living History demonstrators of pre-Revolutionary times, the pioneer/frontier era and Antebellum period will gather together, both men and women, to present their craft to the visiting public. We are looking for a century of Living History to be offered to the visitors, so, if you know of a group that may be interested in participating, please have them contact me for more information and an application. They can come for a day, or primitive camp for the weekend. All are welcome, but, space is limited.

...this is also a Market Faire encampment... allowing those participants to sell their period wares/products. No fees for participants will be charged.

I thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact me via email (tim@psalmsofthesouth.com) or by phone 828-488-5705(office) or 828-788-0164(cell1).
