Refresh my memory?

 ???  I can't remember how to get the horn core out of a recently-cut horn.  Someone I know does paint ball "wars" & he wears outfit from about this time period but could use a 'powder horn' to complete his rig.  I want to surprise him.  I haven't made one of these in over 20 years so can't remember how to get the horn core out.  Past that, it's easy....  Thanks for any help..  Dog
