Frontier Skils Group
Grego:
Hi, I?m looking for people in KY, Tenn & surrounding states who would like to get together and learn about & practice frontier skills. I don?t teach them, I?m the one in need of learning. I?m new to 18th cent. reenacting, I?ve been to several events, but I would really like to organize a group that meets regularly to practice making stuff, like leggings, moccasins, tents, woodworking, walnut dying & braintanning. We would also shoot, hunt & go on treks and maybe even do some pioneer farming.
Thanks,
Greg

Would love to be able to help, but unfortunately I & my group are in New England Australia. I will though add a list of skills that we learn & practice.
Regards, Keith.

This is a list of basic skills in which we expect an 18th century woodsman or woods-woman to have some experience with in our group. There is no time limit set, learn in your own time & if we can help just ask.

Really? Everything I have read says you have strict gun control down there. Or do you mean muzzleloaders??
