Agreed though, become a citizen like everyone else did in the past. But, you can't blame them for what they're doing. The system is set up to allow all of this to happen. Our leaders say they want to do something about it, but they don't... they have big corporations on the line that help exploit migrant labor, and those corp's probably want to continue that. Coca-Cola comes to mind... hell, it was over a decade ago that they got caught using tons of migrants (and treating them like shite to boot) to pick oranges for Minute Maid. So blame the corporations, blame our politicians, don't blame the Mexicans.... they're just trying to make it in the world too. If you see a $20 bill in the road, and you are broke, hungry, and Burger King's right across the street, are you gonna be the one to leave it there?? Didn't think so.
Ultimately, Latin America needs to be fixed at the source. Perhaps that's what all this North American Union talk is: their dimwitted, big-money answer to help these peoples' plight, along the same lines as the WTO, NAFTA, etc. So start saving your Ameros! ;)
