Title: Salutations from NW Ohio
Post by: Rockman on September 20, 2007, 11:51:02 AM
Hello!  I'm relatively new here at the forums, (09/06/07), and am trying to get a feel for how all this newfangled technology works.   ( I only recently upgraded from a crank telephone.....-of course, I'm kidding!.....)   My area of historical interest is pretty wide, so about everything is fun to check out.  Currently,I'm active in 18th&early 19th c. impressions, mostly civilian upper class/minor English aristo portrayals.  Most recently tho, 1812 American artillery is taking a bigger share of activity.  And I'm flirting with the idea of pre-WW1 Imperial German impression,--just something about pickelhauben I find attractive, I guess.....    Anyway, I'm already having a great time just peeking in & looking about.  Thanx for a great site, Sturmkatze!

Welcome to the Forum Rockman! We're really trying to make this a place where all reenactors can come and share thoughts and knowledge. I hope you'll find it useful :-) BTW, if you're interested in WWI go here (http://www.ir23.org)... It's not pre-war, but hey...
Best, Marsh
