Nice Pics. Did you brand them on the forehead before you strung them up?
If only there was a good theatrical substitute for hot tar and feathers....

Brand them in the hand, that's what we do! "P" for Pyrate "T" for Thief!
As for hot tar and feathers....the other group I 'reenact' with (Kishwaukee Valley Vigilance Committee) - has done it!
Looking for a good shot of Maddogg being tarred and feathered as we speak!

I got to thinking about it last night (as we weirdo drama-geek reenactor types do right before we go to sleep) and I guess that you could use corn syrup and some black food coloring to do the trick. Even corn-starch, water, and food coloring ("Black gravy, that is, Texas Tea!).
