I've been interested in the civil war period for many years... have been to most of the east coast battlefields and attended a few reenactments (as a spectator).  I just thought I'd check this site out and see what is involved in becoming a "reenactor":) 
I also enjoy "metal detecting"  and relic hunting...

Anyhow, I'm in the Westminster, Maryland area... if anyone knows of any local civil war groups, I'd love to hear from ya:)  kimbosch@comcast.net
