Title: WWII Ribbons
Post by: ATCflyboy on December 21, 2012, 07:06:48 PM
I recently purchased a WWII AAF tunic. The tunic was owned by a AAF CBI Lt. Colonel. The tunic came with some great bullion patches and ribbons. I have identified one of the ribbons as the Africa Star. Does anyone know if this British medal was awarded to Americans on a regular basis or is it quite rare. Also the ribbon has an interesting device attached to it. It is the shape of a capitol A without the cross bar.
