I have some good news for any one interested in joining this SP cruise - after a spell of very high booking fares there has been a significant improvement in sale prices on https://www.vacationstogo.com/fastdeal.cfm?deal=13069  back down to $719./pp (from over a thousand) so there must have been some cancellations on this popular cruise.
Of course always check directly with Royal Caribbean for prices https://www.royalcaribbean.com/  especially if you can use the "50% off second guest" sale or you qualify for the "over 55", veteran, or returning cruiser discounts.

Again this is on the Adventure of the Seas departing from Ft Lauderdale March 28th, 2020.  By linking reservations we can receive preferred dining seats, meeting rooms, lounges, and even discounts or on board credit.

Hi there,
I am a newcomer here - but not to reenacting.  I wanted to say Hi to all and also let you all know about my store - Marshall's Arsenal - www.marshallsarsenal.com.  I produce a wide variety of replica firearm magazine, pouch fillers, dummy ammo and props for WW1/WW2 era and Post-War era like Vietnam.
Feel free to come take a look.

See you in the forums,

Marshall

Hi!  I'm an old Federal reenactor in Northern Virginia.  I have been asked by the Hartwood Church in Hartwood VA to help with a historic program they are hosting in October.  I'm looking for a few reenactor that would support a one day, individual event to help some real nice folks.

Hartwood Church is northwest of Fredericksburg.  Hooker's grand division concentrated there in November 1862.  Two some cavalry skirmishes were fought there during the Fredericksburg campaign.  It was also used by Federals during Burnside's Mud March.

Drop me a line if you might be interested!

The 8th SP Cruise will be March 28th, 2020 out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.  We will be visiting the "ABC Islands."  Curacao had 14 forts although only 8 seem to be standing today:  https://www.curacao.com/en/stories/history-and-heritage/forts/

Do you guys still recommend this vendor?
Sorry for lateness of reply, but yes. They sell Deepeeka stuff and actually can show you what they have in stock — something most other dealers do not do...

Pacific / Hangar Dance {Juneau, AK 7/14/18}

Starting at noon on Saturday 7/14/18 the Southeast Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol will be hosting a WWII style hangar dance.  This will be part of a awards & commemoration ceremony; hopefully the CAP hangar will be named after a WW II aviator, builder, and current member.
We hope to have a local swing band, BBQ pigs, and a WW II display.  Any uniformed or costumed reenactors are welcome as well as vintage vehicle owners.
Due to security procedures on the international airfield we will need to require any non-CAP participants to make arrangements at least a week in advance so that security badged escorts can be assigned.
