Buffalo Bill's Wild West
Princeton, WI
August 24 thru August 26, 2007
In a rollicking reenactment of the original Buffalo Bill's 1896 traveling road show that made a stop in Sheboygan County, Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show will perform in Princeton, WI on August 25-26, 2007. The appropriately attired character of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody, sharpshooter Annie Oakley and the Congress of Rough Riders of the World make the sprawling, wooded grounds of Princeton park their home both days of this colorful event. Visitors can walk the streets of a "cowboy boomtown," where scenes straight out of 19th-century dime novels about the Wild West, including spontaneous gunfights and stagecoach robberies, liven up the day. A two-hour arena show featuring trick riding, shooting, cowboys, soldiers and outlaws re-create the magic of the original show. Shows at: 6pm Saturday, August 25, & 2pm Sunday, August 26
The event will be held at the Princeton Public School grounds and is hosted by the Rotary Club as a fundraising event.
