Need help finding a WWII US Unit near South Carolina
« on: June 14, 2007, 12:11:23 PM »
Hi,
I am new to reenacting all together.
I am trying to find a unit that is near Greenville South Carolina.
I found 1 in Charlotte North Carolina, but I have not decided if I want to join that unit yet.
I want to keep my options open.
I have heard from folks you dont want to join the first unit you look at.
Can anyone please help me?
I want to go all out in reenacting. I would like a unit that does these things: Basic training, lives in Barracks (not all the time, but for events), does DDay, Battle of the Bulge, Market Garden, etc...
Can someone please email me?  cmjordan77@excite.com
Thank you!
Chad

Chad,

Most events will not be barracks but camp out style. The Gap in PA is barracks but do not know about your neck of the woods. There are also other Allied impressions like British and Russian as well as other nations. Check those out as well since variety is good.
