First Battle of King's Crossing - May 2012
« on: May 24, 2012, 12:37:33 PM »
I am pleased to announce that the 2nd Chevauleger has successfully attended its first battle event since 2004.  :)

Here's a couple of pictures from the battle. An Abteilung of two Schwolies from the 2nd Chevauleger, assisted by a soldat from IR 23 helped hold the Central Powers right flank against a determined Russian attack. While Russian mortar file rained death upon the Bavarian positions, casualities were minimal but in the face of a determined infantry assault, the 2nd Chevauleger slowly gave ground and rallied in the Central Powers third line positions.

Manning the front line under Russian mortar file.

Chevaulegers Oskar Landschultz and Heinrich Kohler at the front.
