It was the morning of December 18, 1812, the morning of the Battle of the Mississinewa.  Above the sound of fighting, smell of gunpowder and feel of death rose one of the most significant chapters in the War of 1812 and dramatic moments in the history of Grant County, Indiana

America's most exciting Living History Weekend.

Just returned from participating at Mississinewa 1812.  --Uncharacteristicly hot this year (in the 90's), but still a great time.  I was with the American artillery so naturally, it was a BLAST!  Hope some of you from the area that do other time frames got to go see it.  Lot of public in attendance, and a great bunch of sutlers for your period shopping.  If you missed it, keep it in mind for next year.
Howdy there!  I'm Oedipus Tex! --You may have heard of my brother Rex....
